The natural combination between the mediterranean climate, the mountains, the proximity of the sea and the particular care during its harvesting and production gives as a result an extraordinary olive oil. Flavors of intense green fruit, herbal aroma, almond and banana with hints of apple and nuts will result in taste that is sweet in mouth, slightly bitter and with a spicy touch.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: S’Olivar de Valldemossa
This single-variety of olive oil is purely made with the typical olive from Mallorca D.O. empeltre or mallorquin variety. There is an exclusive and limited production for sale at the Hotel Valldemossa as well as selected gourmet shops around the island. Bottles are available in 500 ml and cans in 750 ml.
A small and artisanal production
at the Serra de Tramuntana
S’Hort de Son Brondo is a parcel of land located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO is where these olive trees are grown. Every November, olives are extracted to create a very special olive oil, S’Olivar de Valldemossa.
